Description:

A small, slim falcon (about 31 to 35 centimetres/12 to 14 inches long), the Nankeen Kestrel is rufous or brown above and white or off-white below, with a black tail tip. Plumage varies considerably in detail.

Habitat:

Across Australia and New Guinea

Notes:

This bird was spotted clinging to a branch overlooking the ocean near Kiama. It was foraging nearby. Description from Wikipedia
