Field Notes

Description:

Small dragonfly. Reddish body, translucent wings with dark stigma and yellow coloration near body. We had a fairly warm December in 2015 which lead to me finding this cute dragonfly in the middle of the month, sitting on my car.

Habitat:

Suburban neighborhood.
