Description:

Yellowish bird of average size, blue bill. This race of scarlet-rumpled tanagers has no red on the rump! Stumped me for a long time trying to ID the bird!

Habitat:

Found in lowland urban forested area, on the eastern side of Costa Rica (the Caribbean side of the country)

Notes:

Seen in Siquirres, Costa Rica
