Description:

Es muy poliforma con una envergadura alar de 26-34 mm. En general, el macho tiene el enverso del ala anterior muy oscuro y el del ala posterior más claro y con ocelos negros; en el reveros del ala posterior (de color anaranjado claro) presenta una banda clara de anchura variable con una línea de ocelos en zigzag

Habitat:

Campos de Arcos de las Salinas (Teruel).
