It's been a good year for kingbirds around here. They're absolutely everywhere and they're totally fearless.

Great shot of one of my favourite birds. They breed in BC too and are fun to watch defending their nesting territory even from Bald Eagles and Hawks!
markings are so similar to a sparrow except that this bird seems to be sleek and slender.
Very adorable...look familiar...!!
