Description:

Centipedes are arthropods and have long segmented bodys on which each segment has a pair of legs. The number of legs can range from as little as 20 and as much as 300 and always are found in an odd number of pairs. Length can range from a few millimeters to a foot or more. Also, all centipedes have a pair of claws in which venom is stored for not only defense but for predatory reasons as well. They can be black, brown, brown red, and red

Habitat:

Centipedes can be found in the arctic circle to tropical rainforest, or even the desert. Whichever the case they need a moist habitat to live for example under rocks or under dead logs and trees.
