Description:

I found this Flying Lemur walking alone & quietly at night on the canopy in Maliau Basin. I was thrilled to see this intriguing specie in action. Goosebumps! Showing the picture to the local guides later they were stunned and didn't know to identify it. After some research I found out it's a Sunda Flying Lemur. However, it's not really a lemur and it doesn't really fly, it glides & leaps :). Protected specie!

Habitat:

Jungle, trees

It is, Lori.tas. This is my first and last spotting of this animal. I do hope to find one in Palawan, which would be slightly different than the one found in Borneo.
I know amigo...it's the popular english naming, I suppose because it looks like a lemur with wings...better call it a Sunda Colugo.
hey tom !! i don't know why it is call lemur because it's not a lemur !!
