My 300th spotting!! Finally!! This beautiful eagle sat high up in the tree, just watching us get closer and closer...he gave us a great photo opportunity! ;-)

Thank you everyone! Arya, I have a Tamron 18 - 270 mm lens...this guy just sat and watched us in the tree...it was a very secluded area and no threats around, so he seemed fine with us...we walked very slowly, and didn't stare at him while we walked...seemed to help. I did crop the picture, though. ;-)
You must have been able to get really close! I went raptoring yesterday and couldn't get this good of a close up with a 300mm lens.. Beautiful!
