Description:

Ectophasia crassipennis is a species of 'parasitic flies' belonging to the family Tachinidae subfamily Phasiinae. The larvae are parasitic of Hemiptera (Pentatomidae, Acanthosomatidae, Coreidae and Lygaeidae species.
It was spotted on a anemon seed head, near Anavros torrent, Volos city, Greece.
