Thanks lori.tas... I think you are right.. I deleted the last photo...
Actually, I just looked at your photos again, The first three are probably Showy honey myrtle. The last one, with the pointed leaves, is something else.
I did think of that one as well, but again, the leaves are wrong. There are so many myrtles with similar flowers, you really have to pay attention to the leaves and branches. The same is true of the wattles (Acacias).
@lori.tas.. I have added 1 new Photo.. What do you think of this one?? http://esperancewildflowers.blogspot.com/search/label/Myrtaceae%20-%20Beaufortia
I think the leaves in your photos are too pointed to match the more rounded ones on the Showy honey myrtle. Do you have any photos showing the whole bush?
@lori.tas what do you think of this ID..
It looks like it.. but not 100 % .. I took this photo in a National Park in South Western Australia! and it looked like a native plant there..
It looks a lot like my Melaleuca gibbosa, but not entirely the same.
Well, now I have seen the three pics and it rather looks like the leaves of a type of pine tree? well, then no idea for the ID ..
Looks a lot like the flowers of the mimosa. Do the leaves contract if you touch them? I think it may be a related species or at least same family.
