Field Notes

Description:

The male Grey seal can weight up to 400 kg ! They are sometimes called Horsehead Seal because of their elongated face.

Habitat:

I spotted this lonely seal on the coast of the Forillon National Park Peninsula, in the St-Lawrence Gulf.

Comments (1)

If I have it right this could be a female... apparently they have the more dramatic markings and less of a horse head
