Field Notes

Description:

This sutff is growing on the leaves of a small oak sprouting edge-side of my yard.

Notes:

Unsure what it is...should I try to kill it?or how to. Will it harm my plants?Just checked them out again...they are hard, solid and strongly attached to the leaves.Peeled off a bit of the outter skin.
