Description:

Fern-like stems of scarlet red flowers. Blue Hydrangea flowers (Hydrangea sp.) shown in photo background. I tried to look away, but the Devil made me take this photo! ;-)

Habitat:

Landscape planting in the community of Milway Meadows, Fairfax County, Virginia USA.

You seem to know all the flowers, Alice -- I'm surprised I spotted one you didn't know! My photo doesn't show what the human eye sees: a rich red color that saturates the eyes completely; truly spectacular.
