It's wings where rimmed with yellow. It was also spotted with yellow and red.

I wonder if my Pipevine butterflies would sit still for me if I put 1/2 orange out for them. I may have to try it.
Maybe a short-tailed swallowtail? Their yellow bands of spots on the upper side of the wings are often orange. Still, most likely a swallowtail. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papilio_brevicauda
