Description:

very small, less than 1cm, its antennae were at least 4 times its body length

Habitat:

temperate forest

Notes:

I spotted this at Baden Powel park. It just happened to land right in front of me. I took one photo and then it jumped off again.

Thanks Laura. The antennae are pretty wild. I was so lucky this just landed in front of me or I would have never saw it.

The long antenna make clear it's a Katydid (or bush-cricket). Grasshoppers have short (and rather thick) antenna.
