white-tailed Deer

White-tailed Deer are quite common at our house, but I still love seeing them. Out the kitchen window, I took these images. About 14 deer eating alfalfa we tossed-out for them. They munch on the lilac trees and other budded tips of trees. The mom and child are sneaky and come up to eat before the larger deer. The larger deer fight for the food as seen in image one. Not too much of a fight, but they use their hoofs successfully to keep others away. Some stay alert for predators.
