Habitat:

Coastal waters. This school was spotting by a piling on the FL gulf coast.

So many of them were blurry! They just seemed to love circling that piling!
That's really cute! We did something similar on a trip, our lights enticed a big school of squid that were about the same size as those sardines! I like these photos :)
