Description:

As soon as the boat docked, these two Great Blue Herons perched themselves on the nearby pilings. They watched us with intensity. The one on front and then the one in back was puffing out and "gurgling" its neck. They seemed to travel as a pair.

Notes:

The 5th picture, I was trying to get his legs, since leg color is important in IDing some of these birds.
