Field Notes

Description:

Medium brown bird with tan/white striped back, bright yellow throat and chest. It's chest has a v-shaped black 'necklace'. It has a short tail that seems indented at the end, and it bobs it's tail when it calls. (watch 30-second video)

Habitat:

Found in grassy areas, open fields and farmlands. According to www.exploringnature.org they are also found on golf courses.
