Description:

Lasiocampidae; Pinarinae; Streblote; Streblote castanea (Swinhoe, 1892). Just over one week ago, I posted https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/555454244.... Since then, I have noticed that the larva in that spotting have all pupated. So I was surprised to see this one, on the same tree, today. Maybe it belongs to a later batch that I was not aware of.

Habitat:

Spotted in our backyard, on a Ben Oil Tree (Moringa oleifera) locally called Malungay. Plant identification - http://www.stuartxchange.org/Malunggay.h......
