Field Notes

Description:

Cap: white, convex to flat, w/raised scales. Gills: close, free, off white & did not change color when cut or handled. Stalk white very Bulbous & central (w/ringzone), inside off white & solid, two 1/8" black bugs were inside bulbous foot. Apprentice:

Mixed forest next to pine tree in bark. Canton, Ga 30114

Spore Print was yellow on edges & light grey in center after 48 hrs of sitting on white paper.
