Field Notes

Description:

Small squirrel with brown tale and underside and greyish body. This one unlike some of the other brown squirrels does not have tufts on its ears. Very long pointed toes on its feet and very long claws.

Habitat:

This little fellow was scrabbling around on the edge of a rock face right by the side of the restaurant we were at in the mountains.
