Description:

Sphagneticola trilobata, commonly known as the Bay Biscayne Creeping-oxeye,[3] is a plant in the Heliantheae tribe of the Asteraceae (sunflower) family. It is native to the Neotropics[1] and is widespread as an invasive species in the Pacific.

Notes:

With its yellow flowers and glosssy green leaves, This makes for a good ground cover for gardens, even under shade, but it can get quite persistent and will need constant trimming. Found this one beside the road near the rice fields.
