Field Notes

Description:

Male is mostly blue with a black band on the tail . Female is brown/greenish with more black on the tail.

Habitat:

Ponds and slow running water across the UK.

Notes:

As the name suggests this is a common damselfly throughout the UK. Still nice to see them though.
