Description:

Tawny golden buff back - White breasted and a white face

Habitat:

In barns in England usually or a nest box for owls

Notes:

Was visiting my family and walking to our nearby church during the day - very cold and the owl was hunting across the marsh lands nearby.

Thanks Ariana - about a mile from my birth home. I was walking toward the Church carrying a Canon EOS Rebel XT with a 28-80 mm lens -the owl appeared to ignore me then swerved away as I photographed it. My brother lives in the village nearby. We had a three week visit coming back from a job in Vietnam.
Great photo! I love that you not only caught the owl, but the amazing landscape behind.
