3 footTall grass, deer are seen close by this plant in a wild area.

Habitat:

Blue maidencane is a grass. Stems slender, to 3 ft. tall, it has underground fruit.

Notes:

Deer eat blue maidencane. Only one species of Amphicarpum occurs in Florida. Blue maidencane is present in FL and GA. Deer are in this area.
