It was trapped behind the window glass, trying to find a way out. I could click just this picture before it flew away with a little help.

Metallic Blue Leaf Beetle from Chrysomelidae family...
Yes it does. But this one, I found in India only.
I feel its very close to Chrysochus auratus But Wiki says its American
Spectacular. Metallic Chafer beetle.
