Description:

The Pale-billed Woodpecker (Campephilus guatemalensis) is a very large woodpecker which, resident breeding bird from northern Mexico to western Panama.

Habitat:

Evergreen seasonal medium forests and adjacent second growth or semi-open woodland.

Notes:

Picture taken at Noh Bec community forest reserve in the Quintana Roo state (Mexico).
