Field Notes

Description:

Medium/Large wader. Long upsweeping crest on the back of the head. Males crest longer than females.

Habitat:

Wet grasslands, farmland

Notes:

This is the first time I have seen a flock. Usually just a few birds.

I never see Lapwing at such mobbing count...!! Great feat to see such royal bird..!!
I did. Must have snapped about 30 pics of them. Not that many in focus though. Very glad the rain that was threatening didn't turn up :)
