If you check your spider is half silver back. Missing in Mediyansyah's specie. I verified about 70 Argiope species with pictures...very close to my suggetion...main thing its find in India..!!! Do not refer only images..colour combination..Leg structure...face shape also to be checked..!!

yes, maybe that is another Argiope sp.. the specifics Argiope sp from India!? ... and..somewhat similar to Argiope mascordi, the orb-web spider from Queensland, Australia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argiope_mascordi
the web pattern looks the same but the spider looks different
