Field Notes

Description:

Gray/tan fly with black markings. Vaguely amber wings. Hairy. I'm fairly sure this is a Tachinid Fly of some type. I am not able to find a match at the moment. If someone is feeling energetic, feel free to search. :-)

Habitat:

Temperate woodland. Found on goldenrod. Rockwood Park, Virginia.
