thanks peter n laura for the id greatly appreciated i have seen these on our beach when there is low tide , the water recedes far back exposing the rocky base with these and many other sea weeds ill post some other spottings in that area soon
Hi Atul, you're right that it looks very similar to the Favia/Favites corals, but Peter has given you the correct ID, Z. sociatus! Interesting spotting, I have never seen one of these myself when diving :)
is this Favia Coral need an id for this one
