Field Notes

Description:

Tan to reddish brown Tail brown until startled then tail comes up - shows bright white tail for quiet alarm

Habitat:

Very abundent in the woods above our house

Notes:

A problem along the river during dry periods - they get hit by cars crossing down to the river for water.

Shot in our back garden in the early morning.
