Description:

I went outside to my backyard one morning shortly after I woke up to do some bird watching, possibly take some good photos, and wake up a little bit. As soon as I set up the tripod there were no birds in sight, when fifteen minutes before they were plentiful. I noticed the bird feeder a couple yards away from me was empty and definitely not helping my situation. Then I noticed a single humming bird floating closer and closer to the four dew covered hydrangeas lining the back of our sunroom. After watching the hummer for a few minutes I noticed what the little guy was doing, and I was fascinated. It was flying from leaf to leaf, rolling around on the surface of the leaves soaking up the dew. It was beautiful, and incredibly peaceful in it's own moment. A good sight to start the day.
