Description:
Large dome shaped red ladybug with 9 spots. (Although some are elongated.) The center line spot is in the back rather than at the head. That center line is striped. The pronotum had black and white markings.
Habitat:
Australia, Oceania and Southern Asia.
Notes:
Introduced to control aphid population in Florida and Hawaii. If you look closely at the first picture, it is working on just that.
