Description:

Prehistoric looking insect. Adult pictures taken Jul 8, 2011. After being told on Noah what it was I discovered I had taken pictures (I believe) of the nymph on May 8th, 2011.

It was sitting on my truck.

My favorite insect! It's also the largest terrestrial true insect (Hemiptera) in North America.
I think its already appeared on Project Noah....Giant wheel bug...!!
