Description:

Large, 2 inches creature, lovely colors was trapped between 2 glass panes, I took a couple of pictures before I released it. Last time I saw one similar I was told it was a Robber Fly?!

Hi Gilma ,after a bit of research ,I think I have found the ID for your Robber Fly ,or a very close relative .ID posted above.
Thank you so much, Paul Davis.If it is a Robber Fly, I am beginning to like them a lot, the 3 spottings I have of them they all look different from each other but always beautiful.
I am pretty sure it is a Robber Fly and a real beauty ,but I don't have an ID ,I'm afraid.
