Field Notes

Description:

Not sure if this is the same species as the last one I uploaded, but in this one, the spots around the wing are more pronounced and clearer.

Habitat:

Seen with several other species of butterflies, mud-puddling on damp patches on a dirt road running through the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, SW Uganda.

Notes:

I thought this might be a Common Dotted Border, but the ones I saw in Swaziland they had a ray of orange on the upper wing near the body.

Leuba, they were so bright, almost dazzling in the sunlight.
