Description:

Only got this one pix of him.... Medium sized shore bird.. white black/green head and all white neck...

could he be a goldeneye duck?

Habitat:

Woodward Res. in Ca. ventral valley.... many snow geese and other shore birds nearby.... but this guy was lonely

This will be the 3rd time I have tried to update this listing with the correct critter name but when I come back it has not been changed
