Description:

A type of protozoa growing in a sunny yard in the tropical south during the rainy season. The spot on the lower left is where I touched it with very little pressure.

Habitat:

Spotted in the coastal tropical south.

What a gross name! I have updated the common name, organism type (how embarrassing is that?), and added links. The scientific name is still a mystery. I'll keep on looking.
