Description:

54-76mm Back orange with black dashes - Black dashes at top of wings with blue elongated eyes against a buff background

Habitat:

Woodland and wet meadows moist tall grasses - enjoys the wild woods above our house.

Notes:

Was successfuly compeating for territory with a zebra swallowtail on the cone flowers nearby

Nice photo, Mick. Great spotting. And the Norfolk Broads? Definitely cold, though not as cold as Lancashire! :D (My home before moving here to Portugal).
