Second thoughts on this twitch - Possibly the western form of Grey lag?

Habitat:

Remote salt / brackish marsh close to sea shore - protected wild life habitat

An hour or so Laura on the A12 there is great walks, hides across the marshand trees there
Oh wow I didn't know about the ponies! I live in Essex so Minsmere is a reasonable distance from me. Will definitely have to take a day one weekend soon to get up there with my camera!
Laura Minsmere is worth a visit if you live in UK. They have introduce Exmoor ponies to the marshes and some land near Dunwich (theres a sunken offshore village there).
I think you're right, Mick. The bill shape and colour looks much more like a greylag's! Fantastic photos though!
