Description:

According to wikipedia.org, "Chipmunks are small striped squirrels native to North America and Asia. They are usually classed either as a single genus with three subgenera, or as three genera."

Habitat:

In a burrow in my grandfather's backyard.

Notes:

This particular chipmunk has lived for many years on my grandfather's property, and is fairly tame as it usually can be seen darting towards the door for its daily hand-feeding of peanuts.
