Description:
A large spider that blends in nicely with the bark of this particular bald cypress tree. Female bodies are 15–26 mm; males are 7–13 mm. Legs range from 50–90 mm.
Habitat:
Spotted on a bald cypress tree in Palarm Creek in central Arkansas (see pic 4).
