I found this pretty little butterfly among a group of its swarming friends. All of them were flying around merrily and were very active, except this one which sat on a lower branch. When I took a closer look I found that it was wounded. I am not sure how it happened. But it was really sad to see how hurt it was...

Yeah you are right Joseph, there could definitely be some better ideas. I also hope we will find some, more authentic ways/remedies :)

That's a good thing to know. Honey and diluted sugar water. But there could be more better and accurate remedies in the developed countries. soliciting readers comments and suggestions. :))

Hi Chief, It tried giving it a drop of sugar solution. A friend of mine told me that butterflies which are injured can be cured by giving slightly diluted honey. But, in this case it was hurt beyond recovery. I think, in cases like this we can't really do much to help. With a really short lifespan they are very vulnerable. Thank you very much for the concern.
