Description:
Female Spruce Grouse and chick.
Habitat:
This grouse attacted us on a trail in the Parc de la Gaspésie. This trail lead to the top of Mont St-Albert but we were at the base of the mountain, in a wooded area.
Notes:
It flew right at us and was screaming. We were actually surprised by it since it was well camouflaged. We found out why it was attacking when a chick flew past us.
