Habitat:

Forest edge along north coast road.

Notes:

Coordinates are general. Observed between Sarmi and Bonggo, northern Papua. Observable at frequent locations along the north coast road (--and along rivers and in forest).

Also called "flame of the forest" as are some other species elsewhere with similarly flamboyant flowers.
