Field Notes

Description:

Ochre color with dark spots and a light stripe down the center of its back.

Habitat:

Found mainly in coastal plains but when inland can be seen near lakes, rivers and large ponds. Requires shallow water areas for breeding.

Notes:

This frog was seen on gravel beside grassland about 100 yards from a very large pond.
