Field Notes

Description:

Suikazura スイカズラ/吸い葛 and Jinyinhua 忍冬
--Wikipedia
These did not smell strongly but they were mixed in with 2 other wild growing flowers that I saw, Red Trumpet Vine and Passion Flower.

Habitat:

I saw these after a weekend of torrential rain, at the Taco Bell near the Bates House of Turkey in Greenville, Alabama. They were at the back of the parking lot, behind the dumpster in the grass. It was a bright sunny day, so I got to get several shots of this vine growing in what looked like a ditch, along with some other pretty flowers, all growing wild.
