Description:

Large, blue-black coloured bee. Body length up to 22mm.

Habitat:

Mostly open terrain, plenty of flowers.

I think I may have a carpenter bee in one of my unknown spottings..can you guys confirm? now that I see this one I think it may also be one: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/6247812
I'm actually just East of there, but not that far. It is a nice area to be in.
Where I live or the bee? :) It is a nice place for a holiday, and a great place to live.
:) there is a carpenter bee in my garden too, usually visiting the butterfly bush, the rose of sharon and the hollyhocks
Yes, on a bouganvillea bush. I've seen them flying around a lot (they usually make me duck!) but this was the first time I managed to get close enough to one to take a photo.
